I have followed the instructions for POP and IMAP email but can only receive email and not send. Why is this?
There are two possibilities here,
1) Your network operator is blocking the outgoing emails. This needs to be enabled by your operator, therefore you should contact them for details.
2) The outgoing server port number needs to be added to the server name, e.g. a typical server name may be smtp.testserver.com and if you need to add the port number you should add :xxxx whereby xx represents the actual port number. So, if your email port number for the out going server is port 25 then you would have the following, smtp.testserver.com:25 -
