Explanation
The subject of this project is to research foundations for secure cryptosystems and cryptographic protocols. The research theme can be either of the following: (1) Cryptosystems applying number theory and algebraic geometry such as pairing and algebraic torus; (2) Research on formal proofs for cryptosystems or cryptographic protocols.
Knowledge and Skills required
Candidates should have in-depth knowledge either on cryptology, information theory, theory of computation, number theory, or algebraic geometry. |
