The NetDock Port Replicator is the core element in a modular docking concept developed for the Tecra 8100 series to provide greater flexibility, stability and cost-effective expansion. The NetDock Port Replicator can be further expanded to communicate with a second Tecra 8100 docking module - the Expansion Station - via a unique PCI serial port and cable developed by Toshiba. In addition to serial, parallel and PS/2™ ports, the NetDock Port Replicator also features two USB ports and an integrated 3Com LAN chip for comprehensive manageability as well as reliable, secure and cost-effective network administration. As you'd expect, there's also built-in security in the form of a Kensington cable slot.
