What are the unique selling points of the TekBright™ 725 and 925?

 As with all monitors in the TekBright family, the new TekBright 725 and 925 CRT monitors combine quality, performance, and value. With their optimised refresh rates and high-quality tube technology, both the TekBright 725 and 925 also help eliminate user fatigue. Another major benefit is the three-year warranty with one year on-site service offered on all monitors in the TekBright family. In the unlikely event that you do experience problems with your monitor, simply call the Toshiba helpdesk using the number specified in the user manual. A replacement monitor will be delivered direct to your premises either by a Toshiba service technician or an authorised service provider.

What's new on the TekBright™ 725 and 925?

 Following on from the TekBright 717, the TekBright 725 offers everything you'd expect of a high-performance CRT monitor. To do that, Toshiba has carefully selected all key components, including a 0.26 picture tube. The TekBright 725 features a Diamondtron tube, while the 925 comes with a Hitachi flat square design offering crystal-clear graphics and minimal glare and featuring a 0.21 mm mask pitch. The TekBright 725 model also offers a horizontal synchronisation of up to 96 kHz, and a maximum refresh rate of 85 Hz at a resolution of 1,280 x 1,024. On the TekBright 925, the horizontal synchronisation is 115 kHz with a maximum refresh rate of 85 Hz at a resolution of 1,600 x 1,200. In order to maximise environmental compatibility, power consumption on the TekBright 725 has been reduced to just 85 Watts typical. Typical power consumption on the TekBright 925 is 98 Watts. It also goes without saying that both the TekBright 725 and TekBright 925 fulfil all PFC requirements.

How user-friendly are the TekBright™ 725 and 925?

 Both the TekBright 725 and 925 CRT monitors are remarkably easy to install, configure, and use. The installation guide uses clear, easy-to-follow pictures and instructions to ensure rapid installation of your new Toshiba monitor. The controls are also designed for easy operation, with all major adjustments (e.g., colour temperature, picture format, etc.) made using a special On-Screen Display (OSD). Apart from the on/off button, the TekBright 725 has just three external controls, while the TekBright 925 comes with five.

What is the On-Screen Display? Which configuration options does it offer?

 In order to simplify the controls on the TekBright 725 and 925, all adjustments are made using a special On-Screen Display (OSD). On the TekBright 725, the OSD consists of two main pages containing 22 functions. When you press the OSD button on the TekBright 925, an "Easy Menu" is displayed in which you can select one of four submenus (Screen Menu, Recall Menu, OSD Menu, Colour Menu). In addition to basic controls such as brightness, contrast, width and height, you can also adjust colour temperature and individual colour gain, and reshape all four corners of the screen.

What makes the TekBright™ 725 and 925 so service-friendly?

 Like all TekBright monitors, whether purchased separately or bought with a Toshiba Equium desktop PC, the TekBright 725 and 925 come with a three-year warranty including one year's on-site service. If you do experience problems with your monitor, simply call the Toshiba helpdesk using the number specified in the user manual. A Toshiba representative or authorised service provider will then be dispatched to exchange your monitor for a new one.
